Cancellation & Refund Policy

At The Homeschool Travel Group, we understand that travel plans can change. While we do our best to make every trip smooth and flexible, some bookings involve commitments with our travel partners (such as airlines, hotels, and activity providers) that affect what can and cannot be refunded.

Cancellations

  • You may cancel your booking up to 30 days before your scheduled departure to receive a refund, minus any non-refundable deposits or third-party fees.

  • Cancellations made less than 30 days before departure may result in partial refunds, depending on the policies of our travel partners.

  • Unfortunately, cancellations made within 7 days of departure are non-refundable.

All cancellation requests must be made in writing to angelita@homeschooltravelgroup.com.

Deposits & Non-Refundable Costs

Some parts of your travel package may include non-refundable deposits (e.g., flights, hotel reservations, special activities). These will be clearly communicated at the time of booking and will be deducted from any eligible refund.

Changes & Rescheduling

  • If you need to change your booking (dates, travelers, or package details), we’ll do our best to accommodate.

  • Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

  • In some cases, transferring your booking to another family or traveler may be possible — please reach out to discuss your options.

Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days after cancellation is confirmed.

  • Please note that banks and card providers may take additional time to process the refund.

  • If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund approval, contact us at angelita@homeschooltravelgroup.com.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all families purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover unexpected situations such as illness, last-minute cancellations, or travel disruptions.

Exceptional Circumstances

If travel plans are disrupted due to events beyond anyone’s control (such as natural disasters, political unrest, or global health emergencies), we will work with you and our travel partners to offer rescheduling options or partial refunds wherever possible.
